KABUL (PAN): The mining industry will help increase the annual revenue of the government to more than a billion dollars over the next five years, a remarkable swell from the current $25m, the minister of mines said on Saturday.
Addressing representatives of civil society organisations in Kabul, Wahidullah Shahrani said his ministry estimated mining projects would create about 200,000 job opportunities in five to seven years.
